This will be an in-person event for all SWIS/TÉÉ Programs in Manitoba, taking place in Portage la Prairie.

SWIS (Settlement Workers In Schools) workers will be gathering in Portage la Prairie to learn together, grow their networks and gather resources. Participants will visit the National Indigenous Residential School Museum of Canada, “a place where people can learn, share, heal and move forward with a greater understanding of the forces that shaped and forever changed multiple generations of First Nations people.” Join us for a day filled with connection, learning, and wellness activities—designed to provide lasting skills and resources.
Lunch will be served by the Portage Friendship Centre.
Water refill stations will be available, please bring reusable water bottles!
