Networking Fair for Newcomer Service Providers (In-person) “Keeping each other informed”
Location: Crescent wood Community Centre (Gym) - 1170 Corydon Avenue
Date & Time: Wednesday, May 22 from 1:30-3:30pm
Event Description:
The Manitoba Association of Newcomer Serving Organizations (MANSO) is hosting its Information & Networking Fair for newcomer service providers. The fair will be at Crescent Wood Community Centre (in the Gym), on Wednesday, May 22 from 1:30-3:30pm
FOR SERVICE PROVIDERS: This is a great opportunity for your new staff and all your frontline staff to connect with other newcomer service providers.
Please bring two or more people, so that at least one person can be at your stand display while the other(s) connect with other SPOs.
Please arrive at 1:00 pm to set up your table and organizational banner stand display. Please try to avoid bringing a Table Top Banner Stand, as they take up a lot of space. Please get in touch via email with Seid at s.oumer@mansomanitoba.ca if you are interested in arranging a table and setting up an organizational banner display.
The purpose of this Fair is to:
- Present invaluable opportunities for individuals across the settlement sector to connect, collaborate, and cultivate professional relationships, as well as to meet each other and keep each other informed about programming changes
- Serve as dynamic platforms where SPOs and other stakeholders who provide services to newcomers converge to exchange ideas, explore opportunities, and expand their networks.
- Ensure participants have the most up-to-date and relevant information on settlement services across Manitoba.
- Strengthen the knowledge and expertise of settlement sector agencies and individual workers.
- Enhance communication and collaboration within the settlement sectors to strengthen referral relationships and improve the settlement experience for newcomers.
