MANSO Small Centre Key Leaders Retreat
Wahkohtowin (Cree: inter-connectedness of all life - kinship) Training (Pronounced - "Wah ko toe win")
The 2025 MANSO Small Centre Key Leaders Retreat will take place in Elkhorn, Manitoba (https://www.elkhornresort.mb.ca/), in beautiful Riding Mountain National Park, on January 30-31, 2025
Description - Through a combination of ceremony, sharing and teaching, Indigenous Elder/Knowledge Keeper Brian McLeod and his wife will guide us into times of community building, learning and restoration.
Please remember that this is not a rural gathering or a professional development, however we will gather and learn. It is a retreat with space for connecting, reflection and being open to new experiences.
MANSO will pay for one (1) staff member from each MANSO member organization. (LIPs are considered a separate organization.) Each organization may bring additional staff members, at their own expense. Please remember that this is for key leaders, those with leadership/management roles in your organization. If each organization could consider limiting the additional staff members to three people, this would be helpful to the retreat experience and the capacity of the location. If you are bringing additional staff numbers, please reach out to Don for an estimated cost of additional staff members.
