About Winnipeg English Language Assessment & Referral Centre
WELARC is the central language assessment agency for Winnipeg. WELARC assesses French and English language skills for the sole purpose of referring clients to English and French Language Training Programs. They also do some online and itinerant assessments for remote locations with language classes.
Products & Services
-CLBPT - Eligible clients include Permanent Residents, Privately sponsored refugees, Government Sponsored Refugees.
-NCLC-BTC: Eligible clients include Permanent Residents, Privately sponsored refugees, Government Sponsored Refugees.
- Assessments for Provincially funded programs such as REDI and MALTI. These programs are open to IRCC eligible and non-eligible clients.
-Referrals to English / French classes to all eligible clients.
