Regional Connections Immigrant Services
About Regional Connections Immigrant Services
Regional Connections Immigrant Services provides settlement and integration services to southern Manitoba in the communities of Altona, Dauphin, Morden, Winkler and the surrounding rural municipalities. At Regional Connections, our "all services" approach to settlement services for newcomers includes a variety of services including: settlement services, settlement workers in schools (SWIS), employment services, class placement assessments, language training including LINC classes, literacy classes, and workplace language training (English at Work), care for newcomer children, community connections, a volunteer program, and cultural diversity training. We have a volunteer program and provide a variety of community connections activities and community events for clients.
Regional Connections also houses the Pembina Valley Local Immigration Partnership to work with stakeholders in the Pembina Valley region to build more welcoming communities for all residents.
