About Mosaic Newcomer Family Resource Network
Mosaic – Newcomer Family Resource Network is a rights-based organization that provides newcomer parents and primary caregivers with opportunities to develop additional language and parenting skills to build the confidence and independence needed to participate actively in community life, so they may contribute to and share in the benefits of their new communities.
Products & Services
Mosaic offers the Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada (LINC) program with on site Care for Newcomer Children in multiple community locations as close as possible to high settlement communities. Two settlement workers are available for all Mosaic clients, providing individual and group information and orientation services. Mosaic runs a variety of parenting programs and family literacy groups facilitated by trained and mentored newcomers, and the first Home Instruction for Parents of Preschool Youngsters program for newcomers in Manitoba.
