The mission of Healthy Muslim Families is to Strengthen and empower families through education, workshops, services, and support, keeping in line with Islamic values. Healthy Muslim Families believes in a society where we all have a high degree of social responsibility towards each other. Our services and programs are designed and developed to strengthen and fortify the family and provides support to those facing challenges
Products & Services
Some of our programs are
- Family Programs: Welcome new families to Winnipeg
- Conversation cafes, fun and game days
- Children and Youth programs including summer camp for children
- Networking and Referral to agencies
- Islamic Art and Culture
- Financial Empowerment programs including Money Management Training and Free Tax filing
- Support for Victims of domestic violence including crisis intervention and support for navigating systems
- Mental Health and Well-being programs
- Counselling (Arabic and Urdu available)
- Legal Clinics for vulnerable populations
- Witnessing documents through the Commissioner of Oaths
- Translation of Documents
- Filing a Refugee Claim
Programs are open to all individuals who are residents of Manitoba.
