A Manitoba Health Card is essential for accessing health coverage in the province. Eligible individuals applying for a Manitoba Health Card are encouraged to submit their application online; the process includes gathering all required documents and completing an online form.
In this Lunch & Learn session, presenters from Insured Benefits, Insurance Division at Manitoba Health and Seniors Care will share key information about the health care registration process for newcomers residing in Manitoba (including permanent residents and temporary residents). This session will also welcome feedback from all participants on how to encourage newcomers to use internet options for healthcare registration, as well as questions regarding the registration process.
Who Should Attend: This session is designed for any staff or volunteers from settlement sector agencies and other MANSO members working with newcomers applying for a Manitoba Health Card.
