This event is taking place at Regional Connections in Morden\, on September 2\, 2026 from 10:30 AM to 2:30 PM. Strategic volunteer recruitment goes beyond simply posting &ldquo\;we need volunteers&rdquo\; on your website and hoping people will show up. Today&rsquo\;s volunteer landscape is evolving\, and successful recruitment requires thoughtful planning\, strong program infrastructure\, targeted messaging\, and a deeper understanding of why people choose to volunteer. In this interactive workshop\, we will explore how national trends\, highlighting the National Volunteer Action Strategy\, are shaping the way organizations attract and engage volunteers.
