Since March, service providers have been working hard to meet the needs of clients in new and meaningful ways while also navigating personal lives and relationships with loved ones. This session designated to provide supports for MANSO member organizations. The same workshop will be held on multiple dates, with the upcoming sessions on:

This interactive session is an opportunity to come together as service providers to recognize the successes and hardships of these unprecedented times. We will discuss and acknowledge the impact of current challenges related to stress and burnout as well as celebrate the things we have learned and embraced along the way.
Facilitator: Kari McCluskey - Aurora Therapy Centre
Kari McCluskey is a facilitator in the Vicarious Trauma and Resilience Initiative at Aurora Family Therapy Centre where she provides workshops and support for settlement service providers who are committed to creating positive transition and integration experiences for Canadian newcomers. In addition, she is a coordinator and instructor in the Faculty of Education at the University of Winnipeg and a graduate student in Peace and Conflict Studies at the University of Manitoba. A long-time advocate of empowering youth through education, service learning, and community integration, Kari spent several years in public education facilitating alternative learning programs for youth-at-risk.
